OIL JACKETED WALK BEHIND MELTER
Marathon's 10 gallon oil jacketed melting kettle is an ideal size and design for small crack sealing jobs that meet the requirements for your local MTO Specifications. This kettle has many features of our larger oil jacketed melters, but in a smaller portable unit.

- Full wrap around oil jacketed vat for fast heating of hot applied rubberized crack sealants or waterproofing membrane.
- Single 80,000 BTU propane torch and vapour propane safety burner.
- Oil and material bimetal dial thermometers are reliable and accurate.
- Large diameter rear wheels with a swivel front caster improve operator maneuverability.
- Handle bar control for precise material flow, achieved with a 3/4” bronze material valve.
- 3” wide strike off shoe easily creates an overband on pavement cracks.

SUITABLE MATERIALS
This unit is suitable to melt hot poured rubberized asphalt joint sealants that must be heated using indirect heating methods, either a double boiler or hot oil circulating kettle. (always check with your local material supplier for safe heating and application temperatures).
