Crack Sealing and Waterproofing

The 10 gallon walk-behind melter box is mounted on steel wheels and is equipped with a spring loaded hand release valve for easy release of material. This unit comes equipped with a material temperature gauge, 80,000 BTU propane burner, propane hose with regulator and steel shoe for striking off sealant in a uniform width.

Marathon's KERA models are designed for high production crack filling of hot poured rubberized crack sealants. These diesel fired kettles feature an electrically heated hose delivery system that is capable of heating, melting and applying rubberized crack sealant, not requiring any additional equipment!

Marathon's KERA-EP models are designed for high production crack filling of hot poured rubberized crack sealant. Featuring a robust diesel burner system, electrically heated hose with light weight aluminum wand and an oil-jacketed externally mounted material pump, the KERA-EP delivery system is capable of heating, melting and applying any type of rubberized crack sealant with ease.

Marathon's gravity fed asphalt melter kettles are capable of heating, melting and dispensing hot applied rubberized material for crack sealing, waterproofing, and roofing. Multiple sizes available from 130 gallon up to 370 gallon capacities.

The Marathon Pavement Crack Router offers a more productive method of routing random cracks in asphalt. The balanced weight distribution, inline wheels and cutter head, plus extended handle, effectively reduces operator fatigue and allows for safer, smoother, and more accurate maneuverability.

Marathon's 10 gallon oil jacketed melting kettle is an ideal size and design for small crack sealing jobs that meet the requirements for your local MTO Specifications. This kettle has many features of our larger oil jacketed melters, but in a smaller portable unit.

Marathon has engineered a concrete router to effectively rout meandering cracks in concrete prior to sealing. An electric start 30hp Kohler engine powers this rugged machine through the most demanding conditions. Long life diamond blades cleanly rout cracks, eliminate spalls and reduce costly blade change time. An electric actuator maintains accurate, consistent depth of cut.

The Marathon Hot Air Lance is a high temperature, high velocity, hot air lance that will easily dry moisture from the pavement allowing the operator to crack seal much faster! This process is ideal for the preparation of crack sealing because it allows for superior adhesion of the crack sealant into the asphalt. This process extends the life of the repair for years to come!
